I saw Matthew Macfadyen for the first time in P&P and fell in love with both him and his acting!! Which made me go out and buy every movie he has been in plus Spooks and watched Warriors on YouTube! He does an awesome job in every feature, I am sure he will go far, I would love to see him someday in a live play and hear that wonderful voice in person! Keeley and his kids are blessed to have him and I wish him the best in all his endeavors
I watched P&P five times just because of you!! You are the greatest actor! British people are so lucky to have you. Please come to Hollywood and film more movies!!
Matthew, you set the sceen ablaze, you are quite a man, you are the new Mr Darcy, Heathcliff and all the other roles that portray the man every woman wishes excisted again, manly, respectful and with that voice .. heart melting roles are perfect for you, you keep our gender happy. Keep the long hair. Congrats on the beautiful family.
I`m not sure if those words really arrive matthew-macfadyen, but I just like to say that your character in acting affects me in a way – perhaps it is a normal affection between the audience and you.
You do have a very expressive voice – well bellyful compliments.

I went to see Pride&Prejudice because of Jane Austen.
After watching it, I can't stop watching it again and again because I can't take my eyes of Mr.MacFadyen!
He has wonderful voice, I really envy his wife...
It's a pity that my hometown can't watch BBC's drama.....

I just want to say, what kind of outstanding actor Matthew Macfadyen is and I wish him all the best for his future with his wife Keeley and his two children. He is really perfect in the film P&P, but I hope when he`s older the other people will call him Matthew Macfadyen and not Mr. Darcy :-). Faith is what they need, and I think they have it ;-). Be both as like as you are in good and in bad times. Sometimes I read a lot of rubbish in the chatroom, that`s not nice :-(

I saw P&P movie back to back on TV one night a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Then they showed it back to back again the next weekend. Which I watched both of. I then went out and bought my own copy and have watched it everyday since. Twice when I have the time on weekends. I love, I love, I love Mr. Darcy. A most excellent movie and character. I wonder if I shall ever grow tired of watching it/him. I think not. This is my first experience with Matthew Macfayden. I am hooked. I never grow tired of listening to him speak. There is something most pleasent about his mouth. All I can say is "WOW".
I cannot speak& write English very well.

I thought p&p is the greatest movie
what I met.
I love Matthew`s voice&acting.
I want to see another his movies or dramas, but I can`t find it in KOREA. (T^T)
I hope that can see more Matthew`s movie&drama in KOREA.
Honestly, I hated English very much.
But now, I really like English since watching Matthew`s Darcy.
& I want to go to U.K most ardently.^0^
Saw P&P a zillion times and each time I get chills, I just love hearing his voice and his acting is outstanding. I want to see him in more period type love movies, the gothic type, lord of the manor type, he was born to play those roles. Actually, he can act in anything he's just that great.
I have seen P&P a number of times and have become truly a fan of Matthew's. Also saw "Enigma", "The Reckoning", and "Maybe Baby". His acting is superbe and his voice....sigh well need I say more. "I love him most ardently"... Thanks for this site and hope that more movies will be shown in North America. :)
I have only just discovered the lovely Matthew via his beautiful wife keeley, I decided to try Ashes to Ashes after to hoo har over life on mars and was blown away as I was a teenager in the 80's I loved the music and can remember all the ghastly clothes, so then decided to Sky+ Spooks and have got hooked on them both. Though I did absolutely love P&P , what a fantastic couple and he is georgous now I have to catch up with everyone else and watch all his other films and will watch Secret life too. They are so absolutely talented and I wish them great things and happiness
Very talented actor. I wish I could see more of his talent in Los Angeles. Read Mr. Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange. Great insight of his thoughts during his suspenseful courting with Ms. Elizabeth Bennett.

Ever since I saw Pride & Prejudice last year, I fell in love with his character, Mr. Darcy. Since then, I have purchased P&P and have recently viewed "Death at a Funeral." He certainly has bewitched me, body & soul! He is a very diversified and talented actor, playing different roles as well as in comedy and drama.
