Would you like Matthew to go Hollywood or remain a British actor who is picky about his roles

Wording of Question

I have a problem with the wording of the question. I think Matthew can remain a British actor who is picky about his roles and still work in Hollywood or American films (some are filmed in places other than Hollywood). I don't think he has to choose either only England or only Hollywood. I want to see Matthew continue to be picky and do quality work wherever the films are made. DAAF was directed by a director who works primarily in American films (although born in England) and financed by American firms. Currently, it only has a U.S. release date. One could argue that he is already working in American films.

I would like to see him do films in the US because we don't get to see much of him otherwise. I don't think it has anything to do with the money. I think, not that it matters what I think, that he should of course do what he loves and whatever makes him and his family the happiest. Although I can't get enough of him, being in the US probably wouldn't make him happy. Just come over occasionally and make a movie for us! We need you badly, Matthew!

He's got 3 kids to rase and Hollywood pays very well. It's his job to make movies. Hollywood would be like a promotion we all have taken some time in our lives - maybe the job is not that great, but the pay is what matters

I just want to be able to

I just want to be able to see his films more here in the US. But I would think he is more settled at home, so it makes sense, but there are not as many ofers & it seems that his popularity is growing here, so he might start getting even more noticed my movemakers & might then reconsider.

I respect him for being a true indie actor but as a fan I would love to see him with Colin in the next Bridget Jones if made. The two Mr. Darcy's on the Big Screen. It could be short with perhaps a minor encounter of some sort. As a fan of Austen it would prove quite enjoyable and any opportunity to see him larger than life is always welcomed. Hey, a nice Hollywood paycheck for him is just icing on the cake.
