Just want to add a few words to my vote. I think that whatever role Matthew performs he does it from the depth of his heart, with 100% investment. So far either drama or comedy we can be sure to witness a perfect interpretation.
Few days ago, I saw him in Death at a Funeral and I liked very much the film, really funny. And Matthew Macfadyen plays his rule brilliant. But I prefer him in drama rules or romantic. His eyes, the way he smile...
Hi David,I am really flattered whenever I see your face.I terribly want to meet you outside but there is no chance.David,as you said in Pride & Prejudice,i will tell you that you have bewitched me,body and soul.Be at the top David, you are always my hero....
To comment directly on the poll, I would say that Matthew is brilliant either at comedy or serious drama. He was very funny as Sir Felix Carbury in The Way We Live Now, subtly funny at times, being Mr. Darcy, in more of a straight-man comic kind of way. But what captivates the audience more than anything else, is when Matthew portrays a character who is going through melancholy, heartbreak or tragedy. When

Matt,
You are the best, keep on going!
