Verve Pictures , the company in charge of Middletown in the UK have confirmed both the theatrical release date and the DVD release date in the UK.

I was so disappointed in the film. It was two-dimensional, and I would bet Matthew had no fun making it. I think he said it was a commitment he had made before his film and marriage obligations arose. Could he have had a more humorless part? Playing against type is one thing (and I expect to see that well done in Secret Life), but playing against stereo-type is quite another. A noble failure for MM and the other actors. Just a failure for the film.
